02 Accreditation and Sponsorship Status
AusClear is an accredited Defence Industry Security Programme (DISP) member. Our current accreditation enables us to directly sponsor Baseline security clearances for our clients. NV1 and NV2 clearances are facilitated through a trusted preferred clearance partner whilst our DISP Level 3 uplift application progresses.
Looking ahead: Upon completion of our DISP Level 3 uplift, AusClear will directly sponsor NV1 and NV2 clearances in addition to Baseline. Until then, higher-level clearances are facilitated via warm referral to our preferred clearance partner, ensuring continuity of service and compliance throughout the transition.
2.1 Client Acknowledgements
By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- AusClear directly sponsors Baseline security clearances under our accredited DISP membership;
- NV1 and NV2 clearance sponsorship is currently facilitated through our preferred clearance partner;
- Processing times and outcomes are subject to AGSVA procedures and, where applicable, our partner's processes;
- Sponsorship arrangements may change as our DISP accreditation level, regulatory requirements, or partner arrangements change;
- You assume the ordinary risks associated with engaging clearance sponsorship and advisory services.
2.2 No Warranties Regarding Future Capability
This Disclaimer does not constitute a representation or warranty regarding:
- The likelihood or timeframe of obtaining DISP Level 3 accreditation uplift;

09 Government and Sponsorship Fees
AusClear charges fees for sponsorship and advisory services. We also collect AGSVA government fees from the client on behalf of the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency, which we then remit to AGSVA as part of the clearance application process. Fee details are set out in our published fee schedule and service agreements.
9.1 Fee Categories
The total cost to obtain a security clearance may include (without limitation):
- AusClear application, sponsorship, transfer, upgrade, and ongoing renewal fees;
- AGSVA government fees for Baseline, NV1, or NV2 vetting (collected by AusClear and remitted to AGSVA);
- where applicable, fees relating to our preferred clearance partner for NV1 and NV2 referrals;
- National Police Check and document verification fees, if required;
- any other fees imposed by government authorities or regulatory bodies.
9.2 Fee Responsibility
You are responsible for all applicable fees. In relation to AGSVA government fees:
- AGSVA fees are set by the Australian Government and are not within our control;
- We collect AGSVA fees from clients and remit them to AGSVA — we do not retain or profit from AGSVA fees;
- We are not responsible for changes to AGSVA fee structures;
- Refunds of AGSVA fees are subject to AGSVA's policies and are not at our discretion;
- We make reasonable efforts to keep published fee information current; however, you should verify all fees with us or the relevant authority before proceeding.
9.3 Fee Changes
Government and partner sponsorship fees may change without notice. Where AGSVA fees change, we will update our published schedules and pass through the revised AGSVA amount; we cannot absorb increases to AGSVA fees. We recommend confirming current fees with us before commencing an application.
